Robin Hood, Theatr Clwyd 2022Connor is currently in rehearsals for the 2024 Repertory Season at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Making his 3rd appearance in a summer season at PFT, Connor's roles this year include: Gerry Goffin in Beautiful, Edward Ferrars in Sense & Senisbility (co-production with OVO), and Chuck Cranston in Footloose (co-production with New Wolsey Theatre).

Prior to the above, Connor began the year in Australia, playing The Poet in The Choir of Man at Arts Centre Melbourne. An original cast member - having initially originated the piano-playing role of Maestro - over 2023 Connor played the lead role of The Poet at The Straz Center in Tampa, Florida and the Adelaide Fringe Festival, five years on from the show's debut "Pick of the Fringe" award-winning appearance in 2018!

During the preceding Christmas period, Connor played the title role of Robin Hood (right) in Theatr Clwyd's Rock 'N' Roll panto!  Featuring a 10-strong cast of actor-musicians, Robin Hood was directed by Tamara Harvey, with musical direction from Tayo Akinbode and received multiple 5-star reviews. Furthermore, at the recent UKPA Panto Awards, held at London's Traflgar Theatre, the production won the award for Best Pantomime Under 500 Seats across the UK!

Earlier in 2022, Connor returned to complete Pitlochry Festival Theatre's Repertory Season, performing in a total of four productions over the course of the season. Among his other roles, Connor delivered two lead performances as Garry in Noises Off & Davy in Sunshine on Leith to critical acclaim: "Connor Going's Garry is a highlight" WhatsOnStage, Simon Thompson; "Connor Going is the standout among the principles as Davy." The Times, Allan Radcliffe. The latter of which was a collaboration with Capital Theatres Edinburgh, featuring a 2-week run at the Edinburgh King's Theatre, before returning to Pitlochry for the remainder of the season.
