Connor has recently finished working on The Constant Wife with The Royal Shakespeare Company. Laura Wade’s new adaptation, based on W. Somerset Maugham’s original play of the same title, was directed by the RSC’s co-artistic director Tamara Harvey, with music composed by Jamie Cullum.

 

Connor joined Rose Leslie and Kate Burton in the ten-strong cast (right), making their RSC debut. The production was commissioned by and presented in association with David Pugh Limited. The play performed at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon over the summer of 2025 to great critical acclaim.

 

In addition to the above, Connor has worked extensively as an actor and creative at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, completing a total of three repetory summer seasons. Among various responsibilities, including Assistant Director & Musical Supervisor, Connor also delivered lead performances as Garry in Noises Off & Davy in Sunshine on Leith to great critical acclaim: "Connor Going's Garry is a highlight" WhatsOnStage, Simon Thompson; "Connor Going is the standout among the principles as Davy." Chris's Confession (Monologue)

This intimate monologue comes from Gilt, a contemporary play by Stephen Greenhorn, Rona Munro and Isabel Wright. Chris has spent much of his life living on the streets, running ‘errands for the boys’ in order to survive. Having just returned from one such delivery, Chris experiences a disturbing revelation, and vows that this will be the last time.
